As part of the Adaptive Scuba Week and the local campaign to promote The Accessible Tourism in Baja California South, from the 26th to the 28th of July 2017 the 3rd IAHD Training Course for Dive Professionals and Surface Support Specialists was held at the Center for Infant Rehabilitation and Inclusion at the City of La Paz, BCS, México.
Conducted by IAHD Instructor Trainer and Regional Manager Daniel Zuber the course had the sponsorship of the Fideicomiso de Turismo de BCS (Tourism Development Agency of BCS) and local companies such as Cabo Pulmo Divers, Sun Rider, Scuba Schools Divers, The Cortez Club, Maar Experiences, and the support of SDIF (System for the Family Development of BCS).
During three days of training the candidates participated on a try Scuba Day for people with and without disabilities and an Open Water Intro Dive organized By the non Profit Organisation Buceo Sin Barreras.
We want to thank Dr. Maria Elena Lerma Colomo Director of CRIT BCS, Jesus Ordoñez from the Fideicomiso de Turismo de BCS and Chikara Yanome Toda Director of Buceo Sin Barreras México and all IAHD professionals and Assistants that help with the development of an Inclusive and accessible tourism culture in México.
