IAHD membership.

The IAHD is a foundation registered in the Netherlands. The goals of the foundation are to promote scuba diving for all abilities in a safe and pleasant way. Scuba diving is one of the more accessible sports, especially in warmer climates. The IAHD continuously develops new training programs, new teaching materials and supports development of dive gear for those with special needs.

Through promotion the IAHD creates a better awareness of the possibilities for those with special needs to participate in scuba diving.

The IAHD has income from the sale of its training manuals, membership fees and donations. Membership is compulsory for Diving professionals in order to teach IAHD programs. Membership for non professionals is voluntarily.

All members will receive an e-newsletter every quarter through email and the member only section of the website.

Each year, professional members may download a most up-to-date Pro Manual after their membership renewal.
